How to draw a helicopter – step by step
The drawing of the helicopter can be used as decor of the walls in the boy’s room or simply improve the collection of drawings of any boy. However, the drawing of the aircraft and the helicopter is not easy to do. The helicopter has a lot of small details, and you need to know at least its fundamental structure to be able to draw it right. The task is to transport the exact proportions of the helicopter parts. Another problem is to correctly draw the tail and helicopter blades. All lines must be straight and symmetrical, so you can use a ruler. In this lesson, we learn simple steps for drawing a helicopter, step by step.
Figure helicopter. Let’s start your drawing with the main sketches of the helicopter body. Draw a big oval for the helicopter body and simply draw a small circle that will be a cockpit of a helicopter. Leave enough space on your sheet of paper so that you have a place to draw tail and helicopter blades.
Draw the tail of the helicopter. Now you will thoroughly draw other parts of the helicopter. First you need to draw a helicopter tail. The main thing is to make the tail too short or too long. The tail of the helicopter should be a little shorter than the contours of his body. At this stage, you must pop up the top blade of the helicopter rotor.
Front of helicopter. Now you need to draw other parts of the helicopter, as you can more accuracy. Start with a nose of helicopter and fastening blades. Draw the front windows in the cabin, air holes, as well as blade bearing. Erase additional contour lines.
Doors and windows of the helicopter. If the sketches in your previous steps were quite accurate, the further development of your helicopter should be quite easy. Now you need to add a few details, such as doors and rounded windows, as in the cabin of the aircraft.
Adhesive rotor helicopter. At this stage, you must remove all unnecessary lines from the drawing. Now you need to add rotor blades to your basic helicopter circuit. This is not the easiest task, so you can use a ruler. Do not forget to draw small blades on the tail. Then work on the remaining details.
Coloring your helicopter drawing. Now that your helicopter is completed, let’s coloring about a military or civil style. Passenger helicopters can have very different color palettes, but military helicopters have only military dimensions. For example, it may be camouflage color. We will need three colors for colors of camouflage. If you use watercolor, apply paint into smooth circular motions. If you want, you can draw a pilot in the cockpit of the helicopter. You can draw a helicopter flying into the blue sky above the sea or mountain landscape. It is better to draw mountains less, as if the helicopter flies high above the ground.
